Luca
Kari Tally performs Luca at a private concert "LIVE at Fox Run" with The Far Field. Kari wrote this song in anticipation of her first grandchild - a boy her daughter wanted to name Luca - and to express a loving message to her daughter to be present in every moment of her son's life, even before his birth. Accompaniment by Ted LeCompte.
Sprocket
Sprocket, written by Kari Tally, is a tribute to her late mother's Schwinn bicycle and the relationship she developed with it over a weekend campout at Mossyrock, WA, particularly coasting down Young Road with "No hands on my handlebars...wind in my hair, bugs in my teeth."

And with Randy by my side at the Alesis, we had many memorable nights making music together, whether tickling the ivories, doing voice overs, or whistling, like in March of the Butterflies.
